Angie Stone (born Angela Laverne Brown on January 30, 1961) is an American R&B, soul, and neo soul singer, songwriter, keyboardist, record producer, and occasional actress. She has just recently been nominated for the Best R&B Peformance By A Duo/Group W/Vocals Grammy for her duet with Betty Wright for the hit single "Baby".
