Jamelia

Jamelia Niela Davis (born on 11 January 1981), known simply as Jamelia, is a Mercury Music Prize nominated English R&B singer-songwriter who found fame in early 2000 after impressing music executives at Parlophone Records with self-written a cappella songs.

Jamelia has released three studio albums, each of which has reached the Top 40 in her native UK, which collectively have spawned eight UK top ten singles. In addition, Jamelia has won four MOBO Awards, a Q award and has received six BRIT Award nominations.
