Beyonce and T.I. will lead the way at the 2009 BET Awards after landing five nominations each.

The Crazy In Love hit-maker will go head to head with Dreamgirls co-star Jennifer Hudson twice - they are both competing for Female R&B Artist of the Year and Best Actress honors, while Beyonce is also nominated for a Viewers’ Choice award.

Jay-Z’s wife has earned a double nod in the Video of the Year category for her hits If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), for which she’ll go up against Kanye West (Heartless), Jamie Foxx (Blame It, featuring T-Pain) and T.I. (Live Your Life, featuring Rihanna).
