Diddy-Dirty Money biography

Diddy-Dirty Money is an American music group consisting of its founder, Sean "Diddy" Combs, as well as Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper.
The group is signed to Combs’ label Bad Boy Records. The name of the band makes no sense whatsoever. Just calling the group Dirty Money would have been 100% better, but of course he had to put his ridiculous name at the beginning. Why can’t some people just go enjoy their money and leave us all alone?
With dark, atmospheric beats and a cinematic back story, Sean "Diddy" Combs’ new project Diddy-Dirty Money represents a previously unseen side of the rap impresario. Fans may think they know him, but they’re about to experience an entirely new Combs, and an entirely new sound.
No stranger to the finer things, Diddy amassed a crew of some of the top names in music to help him bring his techno inspired hip-hop trio to fruition. TI, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne all lend guest vocals on their new album, but the biggest contribution comes from band members Dawn Richard and Kalenna of Danity Kane fame. "Dawn and I aren’t background singers simply standing next to Diddy," says Kalenna. "Diddy-Dirty Money isn’t just more of the same. It’s an organic group that grew out of a shared passion for music."
When Combs paired Richard and Kalenna to write songs for Danity Kane in 2009, he knew immediately that he had a powerful new songwriting team, describing them as "kindred spirits." With so many far-reaching influences between them, combining forces as Diddy-Dirty Money is nothing less than "divine intervention," says Dawn.
