According to the report, a publicist for Kim called the rumors "completely untrue," and said a fake press release was sent to media outlets about the recording artist’s interest in public office. The report said a man with no connection to Kim, born Kimberly Jones, was responsible for sending out the release and her legal team is looking into the matter.
