Mariah Carey has shot down reports she is undergoing fertility treatment to help her become pregnant.

The Hero hit-maker and her husband Nick Cannon wed in the Bahamas last year and have been dogged by baby rumors ever since. Both stars have expressed their desires to start a family, but Carey’s representative insists claims the singer is preparing for motherhood with the help of medical professionals are unfounded.

When asked about the claims by Us Weekly magazine, her spokesperson simply replied, "No, not true!"
