Mary J Blige says there is simply "too much good music" for one album, when referring to her forthcoming effort "My Life II... The Journey Continues (Act I)". Confirming the first part Monday, Blige says "Act 1" will be released this November.

"We’re going to do Act II, because it’s just too much good music," Blige told Rolling Stone recently.

As previously reported, "My Life II," picks up where Blige left off with her debut album in the early 90s - the effort that earned her the distinction of being labeled the "Queen of Hip Hop-Soul".

"The first My Life, I didn’t understand why I was in so much pain," says Blige. "This one adds another level of understanding."

Led by the single "25/8," "My Life II... The Journey Continues (Act I)" is due for release November 21. The album had previously been set for a September release, following the single "Someone To Love Me (Naked)".
