It is being reported that a woman was found dead at a club hosting Lil’ Kim’s birthday party on Sunday (August 3).

According to New York’s Daily News, the body of 24-year-old Ingrid Rivera was discovered beaten to death in a utility closet on the roof of Manhattan’s Spotlight Live nightclub yesterday (August 6).

"Lil’ Kim mourns the death of Ms. Rivera," Ronn Torossian, Lil’ Kim’s representative told TMZ. "She knew nothing of this incident until she heard media reports."

According to the Daily News’ sources, Rivera had gotten into a fight with one of the club managers after she was found drunk in the men’s bathroom. She was then thrown out of the club by security and has not been seen since. She was reported missing by her mother on Tuesday (August 5).

Police suspect that an employee of the club may have been responsible for Ingrid’s death after several attendees accused the club’s security of being heavy handed.

Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot and Wyclef Jean were among the attendance at the party on Sunday.
